I paint the glorious and wonderful magic that is the landscape and sky in which we live.One spring day I drove down the road that leads to my house and as I looked out toward the sky and landscape, I could not believe my eyes. The image before me was glorious and wonderful. I stopped the car and photographed from my cell phone, but I could never capture the magnificent scene before me. I found myself doing this often as spring rolled into summer. It so happened my grandson, who is also an artist, visited me for the summer and we collaborated: he painted with me to bring life to the canvas.
