This is an entry-level position for persons interested in working in the art field

Hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday- 12 noon to 5 pm (15 hours)
             and Sunday- 12 noon to 4 pm (4 hours)
 

Position is available for either 1 employee for all shifts,
or 2 employees -Thurs/Fri 10 hours and Sat/Sun 9 hours

Paid training will be provided 
 

Duties:
Open and close the gallery according to set procedures
Take payments via cash, check, and Square
Record sales and other payments accurately for artist disbursement etc
Answer the phone and take messages
Keep the gallery spaces neat and tidy
Develop a good working knowledge of the art and artists in the gallery
Welcome visitors and provide professional service to visitors, clients and artists
Talk to potential artists about joining the gallery

Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Computer-literate
Good basic math and record-keeping skills
Customer service and retail experience preferred
Art background preferred but not necessary
