Jamie Thornton
painter
Jamie draws inspiration from the elemental forces that shape our world—earth, air, fire, and water. Her work captures the energy and movement found in everyday moments, from seedlings emerging in spring and wind filling the sails of a boat to the glow of a flickering candle and the power of ocean waves crashing ashore.
Introduced to painting at the age of eight, Jaime developed an early appreciation for color, composition, and intuition. Guided by a deep connection to energy and emotion, she creates vibrant works that celebrate movement, light, and the natural world. Her exploration of various artistic mediums has led to a diverse body of work united by bold color and expressive energy.
A lifelong lover of the ocean, Jaime finds inspiration through kayaking, sailing, and scuba diving. These experiences continue to influence her creative journey and strengthen her connection to the environments that inspire her art.
Environmental stewardship is central to Jaime's work and values. Passionate about protecting forests and oceans, she donates a portion of every sale to support ocean conservation efforts.
Jaime lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, their children, and a collection of beloved rescue animals.
