Collective Visions Gallery is pleased to feature Ken Van Der Does in May with his exhibition, Unseen Mothers of the World.

This body of work is inspired by photographs of women from cultures around the world, translated into painting through Ken’s own lens. Each piece reflects his response to the strength, resilience, and presence of mothers, capturing moments that feel both specific and universal.

The show brings together a range of portraits that highlight the individuality of each subject while pointing to a shared experience. Through his work, Ken offers a quiet acknowledgment of the role mothers play in shaping lives, often without recognition.

Unseen Mothers of the World opens in May at Collective Visions Gallery.
