Collective Visions Gallery is pleased to present Between Light and Land, a featured exhibition by member artist Christina Bertucchi opening in July.
Known for her distinctive fusion of mosaic glass and painting, Christina's work explores the interplay of light, texture, and place. Drawing inspiration from her travels and the landscapes and architecture that leave a lasting impression, she combines the luminous qualities of glass with the fluidity of paint to create richly layered compositions that capture both atmosphere and emotion.
In Between Light and Land, Christina brings together her two artistic passions, using transparency, reflection, and layered surfaces to examine how we experience the world around us. The exhibition reflects on the passage of time and the stories embedded within the places we encounter, inviting viewers to consider which structures, memories, and moments endure and which gradually fade.
Throughout the collection, shifting light and architectural forms create a sense of movement and discovery, while mosaic elements and painted passages work together to convey depth, luminosity, and connection. The result is a body of work that celebrates both permanence and change, encouraging viewers to pause and reflect on the landscapes—both physical and emotional—that shape our lives.
Join us during Bremerton's First Friday Art Walk to experience Between Light and Land and meet the artist.
