This June, Collective Visions Gallery welcomes newer member artist Ingrid Amirault as featured artist with Burgeoning Blossoms, Buds and Berries, a collection of botanical-inspired paintings that explore the energy, color, and movement found in both cultivated gardens and wild landscapes.
Drawing inspiration from spring in the Pacific Northwest, Amirault’s work captures that familiar moment when everything seems to come alive at once, flowers opening, color returning, and gardens shifting almost daily. Her paintings lean into expressive brushwork and layered color, balancing recognizable forms with abstraction and atmosphere.
Rather than aiming for strict realism, Amirault focuses on sensation and presence. Loose, dynamic marks and soft transitions of color create paintings that feel immediate and intuitive, inviting viewers to slow down and notice the warmth, movement, and texture found in the natural world.
A longtime Pacific Northwest artist, Amirault often paints the places and details that make this region feel distinct, changing light, dense foliage, gardens, water, and quiet moments of observation. Her work reflects an appreciation for everyday beauty and the shifting moods of the environment around us.
“Burgeoning Blossoms, Buds and Berries” will be on view throughout June at Collective Visions Gallery in downtown Bremerton. Visitors are invited to experience a vibrant collection that celebrates the season without losing sight of the calm and contemplation that often accompanies it. Opens June 5th, Bremerton First Friday Art Walk
